Biotin for Hair

A follow up for the hair growth post!

SO!  I found a biotin supplement (sad because Unicity doesn't have one!) at GNC.  Just pure biotin.

As you can see, it is 2500 mcg, which is a pretty good amount to take daily.  On the directions, it says to take one capsule of 2500 mcg per day.  If you were to take any more than this, it would just be flushed out through your bloodstream.

Biotin is also known as Vitamin H and Vitamin B7.  It is usually found in foods such as eggs, liver, cereal, nuts, cauliflower, chocolate, molasses, oatmeal, soy, mushrooms, bananas, oysters, and whole grain.

It is water soluble, meaning it is dissolvable in water.  Also, biotin can easily bind to proteins, so don't take this supplement at breakfast.

I have a good feeling about this because I've talked to so many random people with long hair, and they always say biotin is the way to go.  Also, biotin is used to treat hairloss.
