Native Americans used this blend of herbs for promoting good health, especially in the lymph nodes. The lymph nodes are what prevent cancer in the breasts. HERE to learn more!
The Ingredient List!
Burdock: A herb, known by the native Americans as Bardana, that purifies the blood.
"Over the centuries, burdock root was also enlisted to alleviate constipation, ease childbirth, break up kidney and bladder stones, promote sweating, remedy stomach and intestinal disorders, and control arthritis and gout pains."
Holly Thistle: A herb promotes gastric juices.
Kelp: A herb that helps with iodine deficiency as well as rich in Vitamin B. The native Americans used to utilize it for treatment for "big necks" condition that was a result of lack of iodine. Today it is also used for thyroid problems, hair loss, ulcers and obesity.
Red Clover
Sheep Sorrel: Native Americans used this for cancer and tumors. It is also beneficial for fevers and inflammation.
Slippery Elm: A herb that neutralizes stomach acidity and helps with digestion.
Turkish rhubarb: A herb that helps liver regulate absorption of fats.
Water Cress: A food that is high in vitamin C. Native Americans used it to get rid of gallstones.
Anyway, I think this is a great way to help prevent cancer. You simple drink the delicious tea, just as you would with green tea or coffee. My Lola (grandma in Tagalog) had breast cancer and had to get one removed. Breast cancer, therefore, runs in my family. Don't think it cannot happen to you. Take precautions.
The tea can be purchased at www.unicity.net with my code 108741801, like all other Unicity products.

Why Chi is good for your hair
In every mall, especially during the holidays, there seems to be these over-aggressive kiosk employees who shove their products down your throat.
Well, imagine this:
You're about to walk out of the mall and a tall man with his hair slicked back practically comes charging toward you with a hair serum sample. "Here is a free token of our appreciation that you are giving us your time."
"What?"
And then he grabs you arm and leads you to the kiosk and forces you to sit down. "Don't worry, I'm not going to straighten your hair."
"Ok, I don't want to get my hair straightened please."
"What type of straightener do you use?" he asks. "Your hair looks bad."
"A Chi," you answer, slightly offended.
Then he proceeds to rant on and on about how Chi fries your hair because the ceramic is not real ceramic, and the Chi silk infusion serum is bad for your hair. And then of course, his company is the best and their serum is much better.
And then he pulls the bun out and starts to straighten your hair.
"Wait...! I thought you said you wouldn't straighten my hair!"
"Sorry, I lied. Now..."
"'Sorry I LIED'"???????
Ok, so how am I supposed to know you didn't lie about everything else you just told me. Not to mention you were way too aggressive in getting me to sit on this stool. Now you're doing exactly what I asked you not to do and insulting my hair! How do you know how it's like to straighten your hair if you're a guy who slicks back his hair everyday?
Well, let me tell you something! Chi is not bad for your hair!
Chi Silk Infusion Review
Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Panthenol, Ethyl Ester of Hydrolyzed Silk (Chemically modified, partially digested silk), Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, D&C Yellow 11, D&C Red 17, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Boron Nitride Powder.
Usually, you spread about a dime size throughout your hands and work it through your hair. It makes hair calm and silky, and protects against heat damage. It contains real silk proteins.
And >>>HERE<<< is a guide on how to use it for best results when blow drying and straightening.
Almost EVERYONE rates it as best.
Personally, I would definitely recommend this product. It makes a good hair calmer after a shower. Also, the smell doesn't make me sick. It is quite pleasant. Another important thing for me is that it doesn't make my skin break out when my hair is against my face.
When I was leaving the kiosk, the woman who worked there yelled something in Israeli at me.
Thanks...

A girly post about hair....
Most of us girls want long, healthy hair.
Why? Let's face it: it's sexy, more fun to work with, and more desirable than fried split ends.
There are tons of rules to treating hair for hair growth, such as only using a comb, never brushing it out when it's wet, and not blow-drying, but what is really important for your hair is what happens inside.
Some essential things for you to grow healthy, long hair are biotin, Vitamin B and fish oil.
I have been using GNC's Women supplement called Hair, Skin & Nails Formula for about two months. Now, even though it has 3000 mcg of Biotin, I don't know whether it has actually made my hair grow or not.
GNC Hair, Skin & Nails Ingredients List:
Vitamin A, C, D, and E
Thiamin
Riboflavin
Niacin
Folic Acid
Biotin
Pantothenic Acid
Calcium
Phosphorus
Zinc
L-cysteine
MSM
Hydrolyzed Gelatin
L-Methionine
alpha-Lipoic Acid
DMAE
Green Tea Leaf Extract
Horsetail Rush Stems
Boron
Pantethine
Lutein
and it contains Fish oil and soy beans (and because of those two ingredients, the pills smell like a mixture of the two)
Now, since the beginning of September, my hair has grown about an inch and a half. Usually, hair grows an inch in two months. So perhaps this is normal? I haven't noticed much of a difference, so I am a little disappointed.
The other day when I was at work, there were these two girls who came into the store who had long hair.
And when I say long hair, I mean LONG HAIR. Unnaturally long hair. The girls were probably about 160cm tall, and both of them had long wavy blonde hair that fell to about their knees. It swished and swayed as they floated across the floor. While I do not necessarily want hair that long, it would be nice to have waist-long hair.
I asked them what their secret to maintaining their long hair was. And it was not that much different than what I already knew: Fish oil and Biotin.
Therefore, my next action is to find a pure Biotin supplement, and try Unicity's OmegaLife-3.
OmegaLife-3 is a fish oil supplement.
Fish oil not only promotes healthy hair, but also improves skin, nails, heart problems, inflammation, arthritis, prevents aging and sight-loss, and helps your mental health.
Unicity's Science for OmegaLife-3:
INGREDIENTS Vitamin E (asnatural d-alpha tocopheryl acetate), fish oil, Eicosapentaenoic acid, Docosahexaenoic acid, gelatin, glycerin purified water, and orange oil. Fish oil can play an important role in the maintenance of your good health and well-being. OmegaLife-3™ is: • Molecularly distilled to ensure exceptionally pure oil. • Includes vitamin E to protect oil from oxidative rancidity. • Includes orange oil to prevent fishy after-taste. • Formulated to deliver higher levels of EPA and DHA than other fish oil products. • Supportive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. • One serving of OmegaLife-3™ provides 800 milligrams of EPA and 400 milligrams of DHA omega-3 fatty acids (see nutrition information for total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol content).* Research Brief Fish and fish oil receive increasing amounts of media attention as scientific evidence continues to provide information on their potential health benefits, the most notable being their ability to support normal heart function. In fact, the heart-health benefits of fish oil are so compelling, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that, "Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease." In addition to its profound heart-health benefits, fish oil also plays a fundamental role in the development and maintenance of brain and nervous functions such as preservation of memory and mental clarity.* In 2002 the FDA approved supplementation of DHA in infant formula. DHA is potentially important in fetal and infant neural development, in that DHA and arachidonic acid have been shown to be incorporated into brain and retinal cell membranes—particularly during the third trimester and early infant life. Clinical research also suggests that fish oil can help support proper brain function. Fish oil supports the eyes and helps maintain early development of vision. FEATURES AND BENEFITS OmegaLife-3 was formulated to: • Lower triglycerides by inhibiting lipogenesis and stimulating fatty acid oxidation in the liver* • Supports regular heart beats • Helps to maintain normal blood flow* • Maintain a healthy blood pressure* • Help stabilize support vitality and general feelings of well-being* • Support the immune system • Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease* SCIENCE Fish oil contains essential fatty acids known as omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. The two main omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) have been shown to influence important biological functions. DHA is the predominant structural fatty acid in the central nervous system and in the retina of the eyes. Thus, the availability of DHA is crucial for fetal and brain development and is also important for the maintenance of brain functions in adult life. DHA also helps to maintain brain fluidity and may help in the maintenance of cognitive functions. Some studies suggest that adequate DHA supports vision.* EPA supports the synthesis of important compounds in the body. EPA is the precursor of thromboxane and leukotriene, compounds involved in supporting healthy circulation. They also promote healthy blood vessels.* FAQs Q. Who May Benefit From Supplementing with Fish Oils?A. Anybody that needs support for a healthy heart and circulation. Pregnant and nursing mothers (Speak with your doctor to see if this product is right for you before use.) Q. How much fish oil can I take?A. The U.S. National Institutes of Health recommends 650 mg of EPA and DHA per day. Individuals with a known risk of heart disease should take approximately 1000 mg per day. The American Heart Association recommends fish oil capsules for patients with severely high triglycerides. One serving of OmegaLife-3 contains 2000 mg of fish oil with 400 mg DHA and mg 800 EPA. Note: It is also important to note that an increased adiposity (excess body fat) may reduce the blood level of these fatty acids. Thus, such individuals may need more fish oil, even without risk of heart diseases. Read and follow all instructions on the product label. Q. How Can I Trust the Quality of Fish Oils?A. The most concern people have is the risk of fish oil contamination with pollutants such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), dioxins and heavy metals such as mercury. These pollutants are genuinely hazardous to health; hence the government has set limits of their levels in foods and supplements, to ensure safety of the public. At Unicity, safety is our flagship and we will not consider buying fish oils that do not meet the specifications set by the government. Every fish oil batch used in our product is tested and must meet our stringent specifications. Q. Is Unicity Fish Oil Different From The Competitor?A. Yes, Unicity fish oil is better that the competitors’ because: • Our fish oil is molecularly distilled to ensure the highest purity oil • While most competitors use 18/12 fish oil, Unicity uses the higher quality 40/20 oil to deliver more of the EFA in less soft gels. The higher the concentration of EPA & DHA, the more beneficial and costlier the product becomes. • Our fish oil can be guaranteed fresh because we went the extra mile of adding vitamin E to preserve freshness and help protect the oils against oxidative rancidity • Some people do not like the "fishy burp," which is one reason why some people do not take fish oil • Our fish oils are routine tested to ensure that they are safe from pollutants • You get more value for your money because of the higher percentage of the essential fatty acids in the oil. The higher the concentration of EPA & DHA, the more beneficial and costlier the product becomes. • Fewer capsules are required to meet increased needs. Q. I get my omega-3 fatty acids from flaxseed oil…do I need to take fish oil?A. Flaxseed provides alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) which is an omega-3 fatty acid that can be converted to EPA and DHA through a series of metabolic processes. However, humans have a limited capability to efficiently process this conversion. EPA and DHA from fish oil are directly incorporated into neuronal membranes to enhance their integrity and support neuronal functions. Q. Is There Any Risk Associated With Taking Fish Oils?A. Fish oil may result in blood thinning, therefore may increase the risk of bleeding, easy bruising and nosebleeds in people who are on blood thinning medications. Fish oil should also be stopped before surgery. Speak to your doctor before use if you have a medical condition. Q. What's the best way to get fish oil in my diet? A. Studies have shown that many fish can contain high levels of mercury and other toxins from our polluted oceans. The health risks of these toxins can outweigh the potential benefits of omega-3 fish oil. Currently, it appears that the safest way to get omega-3s in your diet is from high quality, pharmaceutical grade fish oil supplements. The highest quality brands available today refine fish oil through a complex molecular distillation process to filter out any impurities. Oral Antibiotics for Acne Treatment
For those who are considering oral anti biotics as an acne treatment...
I went on minocycline for only two weeks and started to have these side effects:
In this order, this is what happened to me: dizziness, headache, nausia, super sensitive to sun ( I got burned from being out for 20 minutes with spf 20 on!), severe joint pain, fatigue all the time, loss of appetite, dry mouth, and very susceptible to infections because the meds killed all of my good bacteria (ex: yeast infections).
Now, it did clear up my skin completely in only one week. It was a miracle. But when I decided to stop taking it, my acne came right back.
There is a safe way to use minocycline if your only problems is infection, but it is very routine-oriented and you must never forget to take probiotics or you will develope problems:
In the morning, take probiotics. In the evening take minocycline.
This was just a warning to all those who might take oral anti biotics for acne treatment.
