Unipower Thailand Seminar

Today, my fiance and I attended the Unipower seminar in Chiang Mai Grandview Hotel.  It was only 200 baht (about 7 dollars) to see the Unicity Diamonds of Thailand.

When we arrived, there, we realized that we were very much underdressed.  Most of the men were wearing suits and ties and the girls dresses.  We were wearing common street clothes (but in defense, we didn't plan on it).  Some of the girls were carrying designer purses and wearing brand-name shoes.

Rasa (Triple Diamond), Dr. Tarn (Double Diamond), Christopher Kim (Executive Vice President), and more Diamonds and high-up people were there to speak.

There were also stories about others who were healed or had success with Unicity. All of them were from different backgrounds growing up.  I was surprised when Dr. Tarn told the crowd that his family was a farming family and he asked the crowd for a show of hands "who is from a farming family?" and about half of the people, so sophistically dressed, raised their hands.

A computer programmer who worked so hard at his job that he developed a tumor in his brain.  When he was introduced to Unicity, he was able to be cured of the tumor and have great financial success.

Most of the seminar was in Thai, so my fiance had to be my personal translator, but Mr. Kim spoke in English.  He said that people who have dreams won't have opportunity.  Only when you are building your dreams do you realize the height that you can climb within your life.

Motivation was the key to this seminar, and some of it was nice cars, nice clothes, financial freedom.  But the part that struck me is when they mentioned the happiness of their parents, the health of their families.  One man's inspiration was simply to spend more time with the one he loved because "you never know when your time is up."

My dad makes a decent salary.  My family lives pretty well.  We're lower middle class.  But it kills my dad inside to know that it could be better.  He has to tell his kids "no" for things.  And his health is quickly deteriorating.  His legs and back always hurt, and he can't sleep at night.  Worry plagues his silent moments, and fills his happy moments with pain.

I have much more motivation, but it is too personal to share yet.

This company is different in that you cannot do it alone.  You need a team.  You need to help others succeed in order to get results.  It is a selfless cause.  All that is spread is good health and the passive income.

Maybe I don't care for wearing nice clothes and driving a Lamborghini.  But I do want to see the people I love smile.  If I can have that, then I will be happy.  Make life better.

*On a side note, I'm trying to work on a ClearStart post to instruct how to do a colon cleanse the correct way, because so many people have misconceptions and wrong methods for doing it.

The Future and How to Care About Yourself by Caring About Others

He's tried too many times to make me think positive.  It's so easy, yet so difficult.  Although on this blog I want to motivate people to change their thinking and care about their bodies, for myself I must admit that it's a difficult task, taking care of yourself.  Things just kept getting worse, so I went down with them.  I flow like water, and when things don't go my way, I go along with them, whining and complaining, never doing anything about it.  It's almost as if I don't care about myself enough to change anything.  I just let it happen.  I wish, but I never act.  I fall and flow away like the tides of the sea.
Buddhists believe that anything you put your mind to, you can change.  You can always change your perspective.  Especially in American pressure culture and stressed minded population, it's hard to apply these to life.  How can you ever be sure if things will be ok in the end?  How do you know you're not being treated well enough by the people around you?
In reality, if you think about it, this way of thinking is so selfish.  Why does the media always talk about our rights and our wants?  Because they are feeding into the selfish desires that people have naturally.  Even in Christianity, you're supposed to fight this.  Todays' world is promoting to just giving in.  It's ok if you are angry at people you don't know, because you're in a bad mood so they should deal with it. It's alright if you smoke and ruin your lungs, because it makes you feel better when you smoke.  It doesn't matter if the people you love are concerned.
Basically, I think I need to learn how to be more caring to others.  By letting go of my problems and thinking about other's problems, my own are solved.  It's the way it was intended.  In order to care about others, you must automatically care about yourself.  Never neglect your health.  Don't take things from only one perspective.  Even when your world becomes distorted, don't give up.  Even if you get burned in the end, at least you know that you gave it your all.
Believe me, I know it is so hard to stay positive!  How pressuring it is when your parents are counting on you to do well in life.  How anxious it becomes when society has expectations of the way you should be.  How it feels to let people you care about down.  How painful it is to cry every night before you sleep.  How lonely the world can be.  How sometimes the only good moments of life seem like a dream when you think back on them.
But you were made to become your own purpose in this life.  You were only given this life because you are strong enough to live it...don't give up on what you believe is your path.  you must become the right person.
Even when it gets rough, don't let it tear you down.  Never show your fear to life.  Let it become your strength!

How to Diet without choices that suck AND a DIY Beauty: Chlorophyll mask????

I got my new issue of Allure, the make up and skin magazine today, and I found some interesting tips about how to make diets actually work.  It was found on page 54:

First Point: “Clear you kitchen of packaged snacks.”
Allure has a point.  If you can easily just open the snack and eat it, there is no effort in obtaining the food, so you can eat easily when you are bored.  But if you have to prepare the food yourself, you might think of the time it takes to make and have to decide if you are actually hungry.

Second Point: “Don’t drink calories.”
Like I’ve said many times, sugary drinks really cause people to gain weight.  Being addicted to Pepsi is not going to allow room for weight loss even when you are going to the gym all the time.  Plus, sugary drinks cause tooth decay.

Third Point: “Stick to one high-calorie item per meal.”
I think this will work very well.  You have one high-calorie food, and the rest are low-calorie, healthy foods.

Fourth Point: “Pick up sticks.”
This point seemed strange to me because I’m Asian.  Now, I’m mostly Filipino, and in Southeast Asia, we use spoons and forks, but we occasionally use chopsticks, so saying that chopsticks will slow you down when you’re eating doesn’t make much sense to me.  I thought chopsticks were invented to make eating faster… However, if you are not acquainted with chopsticks, it is a great idea to take up the challenge and eat with them because it will make eating a little more difficult.

Fifth Point: “Deglamorize food.”
This is something that culture has told us to embrace: making food something pleasurable.  Not to say that we shouldn’t do it, but if we do it all the time, then we will eat more because it’s a fun activity rather than survival for energy.

Sixth Point: “Take time to decide.”
What they mean by this one is think about what your choices are.  If you are offered something fatty that you can get easily, pass.  If it is one of those once-on-a-full-moon treats, take it!

Seventh Point: “Don’t beat yourself up.”
This is a classic.  Everyone knows they shouldn’t beat themselves up, but we all do it.  (Like when I ate all those Cheetos at 10PM…)  If you mess up, start again from that point on.  Never give up!

And part of controlling your diet is being able to have a set lifestyle.  With randomness, you never know when you’re going to get a full nutritious meal.  That’s why Bios Life Slim helps control your body’s cravings and schedule.

And on another note....

I tried using SuperChlorophyll as a mask.

I know that sounds crazy, but there is a story behind this.

Mahal ko was mixing SuperChlorophyll into his water one day, and he spilled some into his wound.  And the next day, the wound was gone!  So I decided to try it for acne.  This is really gross, but I poked a hole with a needle in an acne and I put the SuperChlorophyll onto the open wound.  It dried up the next day and faded by the end of the day!  After that, I wanted to see what it would be like as a facial mask.

I have a cup of a little water and a bowl.

Ewwww my unmakeuped face and SuperChlorophyll.

Pour the water into the bowl.

Take about half a teaspoon of SuperChlorophyll.

...put it in...

Ew, it's really dark green!  Mix it around evenly.

And put it on!  It shows up very light here, but actually it's a medium green.  I was scared it would dye my skin green permenantly, so I washed it off after 3 minutes.  I think if I would have gone any longer, it would have been hard to remove, so I would say use it for no longer than 3 minutes!

Believe it or not, my skin felt very nice afterwards!

Ok, I'm not so sure about the mask, but it was worth a try!

Working

Staring up at the night sky, this is the first time you have stepped outside today.  Or perhaps you have been out all day.  Either way, you are sleepy and anxious to return home after a day’s work.

Maybe you’re a student and you work to pay for college.  You study, you work, you sleep and eat.  “It’s all on you.”  College isn’t going to pay for itself; and mom and dad don’t have the resources to help you.

Escaping into your thoughts as you drive along the streetlight-lined city, you tell yourself that you are not alone.  But day by day, you feel the routine of your life building stress on your heart.  Everyday is the same, and the pattern of life reveals your loneliness.

Of course, it’s worth it.  You have to support yourself.  Or maybe you have to also support your family.  Bills keep you in line by the month.  Financial freedom is only a far-off dream.

During the day, it’s not such a worry.  Work is work.  You do what you have to. Why does society force us into the conventional way of life?  College for four years, and then working at a job for the rest of your life.

There’s got to be more to life than this conventional way.

How to Effectively Lose Weight with Bioslife Slim

Make a routine when using Bios Life Slim or Bios Life.  Even if you do not use these, you can follow this lifestyle plan if you want to lose or maintain a certain weight. Unicity products simple help you along.

Bios Life Slim is Unicity's signature weight-loss all-natural drink.

Bios Life helps mainly with cholesterol.

Morning
Eat a protein breakfast instead of a meal containing carbs.  If you have too much sugar in the morning, your insulin will go up and you will not be able to burn fat for a few hours.  Eat meats or eggs or a protein drink such as Lean Complete.

Leave four hours in between breakfast and lunch.  Try not to snack in between.  Eating a snack will produce insulin because the glucose will make your pancreas create insulin.  Insulin will prevent you from burning the stored fat.

15 minutes before you eat lunch, drink Bios Life Slim or Bios Life.

Lunch
This is the meal you can eat carbs, but only complex carbs, not simple (all sugary food).  Simple cabs are usually processed. For breads, eat whole grains.

Leave four hours in between lunch and dinner.  For a snack, you can eat fruit of unprocessed foods like nuts.

When you're out, try to walk as much as possible to keep up your metabolism.  If you do decide to exercise with cardio, you will have to eat more carbs because you will feel more hungry, so it is recommended that you simply diet and walk when taking Bios Life Slim.  Weight-loss plans that include high activity or starvation are usually short lived because the adjustment is too harsh on your body.

15 minutes before eating dinner, drink Bios Life Slim or Bios Life.

Dinner
Dinner is for the greens.  Eat vegetables and meat for dinner.  Do not eat carbs; it will be hard to burn off those during the evening.

For a snack in the evening, have some yogurt or fruit.  Tropical fruits are the best for you because they won't bring up your insulin levels. (However, do not eat fruit right before sleeping because then you can get heartburn)

Leave 12 hours in between dinner and breakfast.

If throughout the day, you cannot get the suggested amount of fruits and vegetables, you should take a supplement such as Daily Produce.

Throughout the day, you should be hydrating yourself.  Water or tea is fine, but soda is not good.  Soda is as acidic as your stomach juices and it is high in sugars, so it will not only keep you from losing weight, but it will also decay your teeth.

It is hard to give up carbs for snacks.  Whenever you feel the craving for carbs, try drinking a full glass of water or eating some fruit and then see how you feel.

Within two to three months, your body should become trained to consume only what is needed for that day.  The main problem with weight gain is consuming more than we need because we feel like we want more that we actually need.  You will also feel your energy increase.  Bios Life Slim helps your body use glucose more efficiently.

Bios Life Slim and Bios Life also remove the toxins from your body, regulates hormones, brings down leptin levels, decreases cravings, lowers cholesterol, and act as an everyday multi-vitamin.

So, remember:
* Use the 4-4-12 rule (4 hours in between breakfast and lunch, 4 hours in between lunch and dinner, and 12 in between dinner and breakfast)
* The average person actually only needs 1600 calories per day.

Unicity products can be ordered like so.

Good Luck.

Ning.

No Complaining!

Happiness is a state of mind.  Therefore, if you think in your mind that you are happy, you will be happier.
Negativity can bring you down and negative thinking can make your life negative as well.

How many times during the day do you complain?

Even the small complaints.  How often in just one day?

I first heard about the No Complaints Challenge a few years back.  There is a website where you can order a complaint-free bracelet.

But I say that just using a red hair tie is sufficient for the challenge.

Put the red tie on your wrist like a bracelet.
Now, every time you complain, you must switch the band to your other wrist.
Can you keep it on the same wrist for a day?
A week?

If you can keep it on the same wrist for a month, I’m sure you will see the world in a different light.
